Sponsor Stowting Cricket Club
As a self-financing club, our fund raising is limited to events hosted by the club and generous donations by members, supporters and local individuals or businesses. Providing quality opportunities and experiences for all members comes at a high cost to the club. Without these contributions, the club would not be able to exist in its current form or be able to achieve the goals it has set for itself in the medium to long term. The club is not for profit and re-invests all money raised back into the club for the good of the community.
The cricket club itself is part of the Kent Village Cricket League which spreads across Kent and East Sussex. We also take part in the Ashford and District T20 League and Shepway Indoor League throughout the winter. The amount of the county our cricket sees us travelling to means our sponsorship opportunities offer real value in terms of geographical exposure.
We have various types of sponsorship opportunities that cater for all markets, from individuals to large businesses. Some perks we can offer include, but are not limited to are:
1. Sponsored social media posts
2. Website advertising
3. Fixture card advertising
4. Advertising banners around the ground
5. Advertising on our digital streaming offer
6. Kit sponsorship (Playing / Training / Coloured)
Stowting Cricket Club is constantly increasing in popularity as a social venue especially following our recent refurbishment. Our Sunday games in particular the Kent Village Cricket League are usually very well attended. We also allow Folkestone Cricket Club use of the ground for fixtures so your advertising will not only be seen on Stowting match days but also on Folkestone match days with a wider demographic of visitors.
Today
We have two senior teams playing in the Kent Village Cricket League. Our first team plays in the top division, competes for the Ashford and Districts T20 cup and takes part in the Shepway Indoor Cricket League. Our second team plays in Division 4 East. We have a wonderful arrangement with Folkestone Cricket Club where we give adult cricket to their youngsters as a taster to adult cricket. We are always looking at ways to improve our offering for children of all ages to be introduced to and enjoy cricket.
Aspirations
As a club we aspire to playing and competing in the highest standard available to all our teams. We believe we are building a squad that is close to achieving that goal. Alongside the goals of the first team we want our affiliation with Folkestone Cricket Club to thrive and we are looking to provide a pathway from junior cricket, to village cricket and ultimately Kent Cricket League first team cricket with Folkestone Cricket Club.
